La mia arte è caratterizzata da un segno sfuggente e polimaterico; lineare nella forma e dal colore che dà la percezione della fugacità delle immagini che ritraggono visi sconosciuti e protagonisti di storie ignote. L’effetto di indeterminatezza e di materializzazione dell’immagine ricorda l’iconografia di molta arte antica e sacra e di un certo “Memento memori” cristiano. Una sorta di “arte del ricordo” tanto vicina alle Wunderkammer quanto alle Camere delle reliquie.
My art is characterized by an elusive sign and mixed media; linear in form and of a color that gives the perception of impermanence, like an image depicting unknown faces and heros of unknown stories. The effect of imprecision and the materialization of the image evokes the iconography of much ancient and sacred art, and of a certain Christian “mindful reminder.” A sort of “art of recollection” as close to Wunderkammer as the House of the relics.
